this girl

This girl...
my Molly Margaret.

This fifteen month old beauty, who is LOVED by her big brothers...

This girl...
who is getting so big...

so independent...

...so communicative.

She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it.
Like....helping herself to "playthings" found in the pantry...

...or sweetly signing "more" over and over until she's eaten three heaping tablespoons of Justin's Chocolate-Hazelnut spread, and nothing else, for lunch.

She runs through the fountains at the pool without abandon or fear of her face getting wet.
She runs down our steep, asphalt driveway at full speed, her feet thisclose to stumbling out of her control, trying to keep up with the boys.
She hugs tightly with both arms.
She gives lip-smacking kisses now, in addition to the open-mouth baby kisses, and blows kisses goodbye by clicking her tongue.
She can point to her belly, her toes, her tongue, her ear, and my nose. When she tries to point to her own nose, or when I say, "Molly, where are your eyes?" she squints her eyes and squishes up her nose and cheeks in just about the cutest little face I've ever seen.
She will walk, like such a good little shopping buddy, beside me through a store on a quick trip, but on longer trips, happily snuggles into the Ergo and catches a now-rare morning snooze when she can.
She is the best little Mommy this house has ever seen.
She still nurses at nap and bedtime, but now she walks over to her bookshelf and picks out books to read after nursing and before I put her, awake, in her crib.

This girl...
who is starting to let her Dragon out...
who is finding her voice and letting it be heard when a wanted, out-of-reach toy or buddy isn't immediately handed to her...or when a brother doesn't immediately relinquish a toy-in-hand...
who is doing the Stiff Leg Baby Move of Protest when picked up and whisked away from an activity before she's All Done...
who hardly eats ANYTHING and is giving her Picky Eater title-holder big brother a run for his money...
who walks around the house signing Help all day long because she just assumes that someone is probably following behind her at her beck and call...and someone always is...

because no one can get enough of this girl.

This girl...

Makes. Me. Laugh.

Lesson Learned:
I want to bottle her up right now. I love this age. I love this girl.
