watch. Please. Watch.

This video is by the Food Allergy Initiative. It's a nice summary of the fears, struggles, and hopes shared by parents of children with severe food allergies.

Lesson Learned:
They said it best. We need a cure.

  1. Sarah,

Great video! Scary for sure! I never knew that anyone can become allergic at any time. Thank you for teaching us!

  2. Thanks, Sarah. There's still a lot we don't know about how and why allergies develop, what--if anything--can be done to prevent them, and if there is a cure out there. Many times, people have an allergic reaction to a food that they have previously eaten and thought safe. Is this because they weren't allergic and now are? Or because previous reactions were minor and undetected--or not connected back to the right food? Luckily there are some really smart people out there right now asking these questions and trying to find some answers.
